Stickychicken is a Raglan based trio that formed in early 2021. They play a blend of jazz funk spanning the history of the genre from the early 70s through to some of its more contemporary artists while also incorporating elements of hip hop, Latin and more traditional funk grooves. The band incorporates a wide array of sounds to flesh out the trio set up as well as also having guest musicians appearing alongside them. 

Ashley Knox is New Zealand’s best kept secret and one of our most talented musicians. Equally at home in a band as a side man as he is performing his own music. Ashley blends his amazing facility on guitar and bass along with his love for all things electronic in a performance that will be sure to make your smile just as wide as your ass shakes.
